Here in Mount Anville school, each student is afforded the opportunity to be a member of a Hockey team. This season Mount Anville will field 27 Hockey teams across four age categories. Working with others is a skill we value highly and students are encouraged from 1st year through to 6th year to remain involved in the extra-curricular sports programme. Mount Anville school has the highest number of schoolgirls’ hockey teams in the entire country and we are extremely proud of each and every student, their commitment, enthusiasm and work ethic.
Training takes place Monday to Saturday from August to mid-March, students are expected to participate in training and be available for both competitive and non-competitive fixtures every Saturday morning during this time period. Mount Anville competes at the highest level in all age categories.
