Bugs Bees and Native Trees

On Friday the 10th of September, five prefects joined Ms. Caffrey and Ms. Kelly to help the non-profit organisation “Bugs Bees and Native Trees” plant 12 native and common trees on our school grounds.

“Bugs Bees and Native Trees” are an organisation that travels all around the country planting native trees for our environment. Mount Anville are very excited to improve their biodiversity, promoting our sacred heart goal of Social Awareness this year.

To commemorate our goal of Social Awareness we are holding a creative writing competition. The theme of our competition is Climate Change. There are excellent prizes.
Congratulations to Chloe Griffin & Sophie Kennedy (U16 Girls), Sally Traynor (U18 Girls) & Ali Griffin (U20) on representing Leinster at the Interpros over the weekend.
This week is “Minding my Mind” week within the school, where we talk about mental health and wellbeing.
Congratulations and well done to our Transition Year students who lined the red carpet, to welcome the children of Laura Lynn Children's Hospice to their Oscars on Saturday.
